For boys and girls who demonstrate progress and are ready for a lower level of care, Elmcrest operates 2 boarding homes in the City of Syracuse.  While the treatment protocols are the same as our long-term program, children have more latitude in their activities.  In addition, children in our boarding homes begin to learn independent living skills such as money management, menu planning, meal preparation, etc.  (12 beds)
