From helping young boys and girls go from disruptive to productive, to reconnecting families and assisting youngsters with developmental disabilities or serious medical issues—Elmcrest Children's Center is proving hope for those who need it most.
Each year, Elmcrest serves more than 1,500 children in one or more of its programs. Whether it's early intervention and education services or specialized treatment for children with exceptional behaviors and psychiatric issues—Elmcrest provides care and treatment for some of our community's most vulnerable children.
From its earliest days as Syracuse's first orphanage, Elmcrest has dedicated itself to meeting the needs of our community's most needy children. After more than 160 years of service, we are more committed than ever to our mission and continue to be at the forefront of developing services to meet the ever-changing needs of our youth.
