Group Emergency Foster Care

Group Emergency Foster Care is a 60-day residential diagnostic program for boys ages 8-16 years. At the direction of a Family Court Judge or County Department of Social Services, Elmcrest will provide a complete diagnostic assessment of a child whose behavior is consistently disruptive and inappropriate in his home, school or community. The comprehensive assessment plan includes evaluation of each boy's behavioral, social, emotional, psychological and educational status and recommends a course of action to correct those problems that are barriers to the child's success.
