Long Term Residential Treatment

Boys and girls ages 8-16 with behavioral or emotional problems who require out of home placement may be admitted to Elmcrest's Long Term Residential Program for treatment. A treatment team develops an individual treatment plan for each child and measures the child's progress against the plan's goals and objectives. In addition to the group living experience, each child receives individual and group counseling, education, and recreation experiences all designed to promote positive growth against the goals of the treatment plan. Children may be in care anywhere from several months to several years depending on progress and external resources. (36 beds)
