Individual Residential Alternative

The IRA at Waterford Wood is a five-bed residential alternative for children with developmental disabilities. The mission of the home is to provide quality care in a safe and nurturing setting. Our goal is to provide an environment that fosters learning and skill building for daily living, independence and socialization. Our expectation is that through participation, children will learn. Families are expected and encouraged to participate and share in this process for as long as their child is with us—enabling the youth to realize their full potential as they transition into adulthood.
